Sami + Brian's Intimate Backyard Wedding in Augusta

Sami is my Instagram-friend-turned-real-life friend. She’s a talented artist and designer whose work I love! When she reached out to me to be her photographer, I was thrilled to work with a fellow creative. After meeting her in person, hearing the vision for the wedding, and hearing about her and Brian’s special relationship, I knew this was going to be a sweet wedding.

Sami and Brian met while taking Krav Maga classes (how cool are they?!), and they just knew their hearts were tied to each other. They wanted their wedding to be intimate and sincere, and it was absolutely that down to the last detail. The wedding was at Brian’s sister’s house with all their best friends, family and Krav Maga crew. Sami thoughtfully designed and curated the details and decor to create a ceremony and reception that felt true to her and Brian (they even served milk and cookies after dinner!). It was a beautifully sunny day, footnoted by a brief rainstorm that felt like a smile from heaven.
