Katelyn + Jordan's Beautiful Georgia Farm Wedding

Although I grew up in Georgia, sometimes I get to experience parts of the state that make it feel brand new again. Katelyn and Jordan got married on a beautiful family far just about 45 minutes from where I live, but it felt like we stepped into another world. The drive took us from the city to the country, down dirt roads, with lush green cascading all around us. It was absolutely stunning, but the views got even better when we arrived to the family’s property. It was peaceful, sunny, and set a beautiful stage for all the sweet birds we could hear in the distance. Picturesque and tranquil to say the least!

The farm is a place that is sentimental to Katelyn - many holidays and childhood memories born here, and she told me it was the place she always hoped to get married. Every moment of the day held the same purposeful note, all centered around family and nostalgia and lots of love. Throughout the day, Katelyn and Jordan remained so happy and present. I never caught a bit of stress or worry. They love each other and loved their wedding day - grateful for all the hands that helped them and the love that surrounded. I told Adam later that there’s something was something so pure, honest, and unwavering about those two. It was refreshing.

There’s too many highlights from the day, but one of my favorite moments was during the ceremony. Katelyn and Jordan chose to symbolize their union through a unique gesture: the planting of a tree. Together they planted and watered the baby tree, signifying the growth and strength of their love. They said a prayer together, and it felt like the whole world stopped for just a moment.

Let’s be clear though, these two know how to have fun too. At the end of the wedding, they hopped on a lawnmower and zipped around the property! It was an infectiously joyful way to end a gorgeous day that felt true to who they are. Katelyn and Jordan are so beloved by many, and I’m enormously grateful to know them too!
