New York City on Film

New York City is one of my favorite places in the world. I even don’t kind of mind the frigid cold winters because it makes me feel like I’m in a 90s sitcom. My dream.

Anyway, it’s definitely always been comparable to the arctic IMO. Like, subzero winters. I suppose this is because we always seem to go in January when airfare is cheap? (#logic).

Here’s a few film scans from our January trip. I’ve been trying to shoot film exclusively during travels for the practice and intentionality…since every shot costs money on a roll, so it better be right! But it probably won’t be. 😉 We’re all about grace here, folks! But I love the nostalgia of film, and NYC makes me feel incredibly nostalgic for inexplicable reasons, so the two needed to marry.
