Although I grew up in Georgia, sometimes I get to experience parts of the state that make it feel brand new again. Katelyn and Jordan got married on a beautiful family far just about 45 minutes from where I live, but it felt like we stepped into another world.

I photographed a wedding day that ran until midnight (not a normal occurrence!), slept a few hours, and then got in the car with Adam and we headed north to Tennessee. Sarah and Richard’s wedding was scheduled for March, right when social distancing was mandated and large gatherings were banned. Sadly, they had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding for June, but they sure did make the BEST out of an unexpected situation.
